Directed by Kiana Moore and produced by Vox Creative’s Epic Stories team with Publicis LeOne powered by DigitasSensory Overload challenges misconceptions about neurodivergence and sensory sensitivities. Too often, these experiences are viewed as deficiencies or oddities—but this film proves that they are not flaws; they’re just differences.

As Dr. Spielmann powerfully states, “We have to start normalizing the different environments and stop trying to normalize people.” This message underscores the importance of embracing sensory inclusivity and creating spaces where everyone can thrive.

Sensory Overload shares the stories of individuals who are redefining what it means to live with neurodivergence:

  • Lola Dada-Olley, a mother of two neurodivergent children navigating life with love and advocacy

  • Dr. Jacob Dent, a dentist designing sensory-inclusive care environments

  • Burnett Grant, a young labor advocate championing neurodivergent inclusion in the workplace

An estimated 1 in 5 people experiences heightened sensitivity to environmental or emotional stimuli. This film highlights how neurodivergence adds rich diversity to the human experience and how embracing these differences can help create a more inclusive—and wonderfully sensitive—world.
