Foundations of Development
This course introduces participants to the foundations of development: sensory processing, regulation, and relationship. It explores the neurological, behavioral, and functional ties that each of these foundations has with one another. Course available for everyone.
School-based Intensive
The course provides a comprehensive understanding of the application of sensory processing theory and intervention in the schools. Specific focus is given to educationally relevant evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with educators. Course for OT and OTA Practitioners.

Educational Reach
STAR Institute is dedicated to global education for Sensory Processing Disorder and creating a world in which everyone with SPD is able to receive treatment. With SPD affecting at least 1 in 20 children, it is not only professionals in the field of Occupational Therapy who need education on this subject, but also parents, care givers, extended family, friends, educators, employers, mental health providers, other medical professionals, and politicians. Since 2007, the STAR Institute Education Center has educated over 12,750 people from 45 states and 18 countries with thousands more attending workshops/speaking engagements around the world.
