Hannah Robertson, OTD, OTR/L earned her bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Physiology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Iowa and her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from St. Ambrose University. During graduate school, she contributed to research supporting the Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI), focusing on normative data collection and test-retest reliability. Her capstone project explored occupational therapy’s role in neurodiversity-affirming feeding therapy.
Her therapeutic approach focuses on sensory integration, feeding therapy, praxis, and relationship-based developmental approaches. She has completed DIR® Floortime™ 101, 201, and 202, the SOS Approach to Feeding, and advanced mentorship training through the STAR Institute, including Level 1 Intensive Mentorship and ProCert 1. She is currently pursuing certification in Ayres Sensory Integration through the Collaborative for Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration as a scholarship recipient.
Hannah is passionate about helping children feel safe, understood, and empowered within their bodies. Her work emphasizes neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based care that prioritizes co-regulation, autonomy, and meaningful participation. She has a special interest in integrating sensory processing, praxis, and interoception into feeding therapy in ways that support connection, confidence, and joyful engagement in everyday life.
