Teri Todd, M. A. Mental Health Counseling (she/her)

Teri N. Todd earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a focus on Children and Adolescents from Lewis University. Prior to working at STAR, Teri was a group facilitator at Game to Grow, where she led social flourishing games with children and adolescents using the Critical Core Method. In 2023, Teri began working exclusively with the Game to Grow Hospital Gaming Program, where she brought Critical Core style one shots to children and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. She continued her work with Game to Grow until she began her employment with STAR.

Before beginning her work in Therapeutic Tabletop Role Playing in 2022, Teri worked in Community Mental Health settings in Southern Illinois, specializing in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. 

When she isn’t working, Teri loves relaxing with her cats and husband, watching role-playing games and Minecraft on YouTube and Twitch. She also spends time with her family and enjoys camping on the weekends.
